Philippine average internet speed is 213 Kbps for 2011, but is this applicable to my hometown province? To answer my own question, I do a little study about Globe Tattoo Broadband internet connection speed in Calatagan Virac, Catanduanes. The statistics is not 100% accurate but very helpful to tell the internet speed from April 2 - April 7, 2012.
I decided to take a 5 days internet speed check at random time intervals to check how globe broadband internet connection speed vary from time to time. Internet speed was taken from 3.6 Mbps Globe Tattoo Prepaid broadband stick with internet speed statistics features and the following 8 websites are accessed in 5 days period.

Over the 5 days period, globe tattoo internet speed reaches as high as 1 Mbps (uptick) and average internet speed is approximately 200 Kbps while surfing the net (base from the charts). Please bear in mind that internet speed varies and depends on the device (3G, 3.5G or 4G technology) you are using, traffic or the number of connections and your signal.
