Cherry Mobile never runs out of tanks and bullets, after Flare and TITAN that created burst of anticipation for Filipinos hunger for affordable and high performance Android phones, here comes Cherry Mobile SKYFIRE, FLAME and OMEGA. Will CM OMEGA finally ends the "Battle of Dual-Core Android Phones"
To continue the battle of supremacy between dual core Android Phones, we will compare the latest of the latest. We have seen Cherry Mobile SKYFIRE partial specs but it's availability is not yet confirmed.
On the other hand MyPhone A848i DUO (SRP P7,499) will be available in the market first week of December and included in MyPhone's Christmas Android Phone Madness with a price cut of P1,500.
Why should I compare SKYFIRE to A848i? Why not on A919 DUO? My only reason is price, they are the same.

Features: Both are Dual SIM, Dual Standby with FM Radio and GPS capability.

GPU: Integrated PowerVR SGX531
Screen: Cherry Mobile SKYFIRE sports a 4.7" screen while MyPhone A848i a 4.0" IPS screen. Both are Capacitive Touchscreen
Resolution: 800x480 pixel (A848i DUO), TBA for SKYFIRE
Pixel per inch: 223 ppi (A848i), for SKYLINE, it depends on the resolution. If the same with A848i, SKYFIRE ppi will be 199.
OS: Both running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS)
Camera: Both have dual camera with 5MP rear autofocus with LED flash and VGA front.

On the first glance, SKYFIRE screen size is large compared to A848i. I think it is a redesigned TITAN (5.0" screen) and with aesthetically back cover.
