House Bill 6725 - Creating Philippine Space Agency

Who will be the first Filipino to walk in outer space or to land in the moon?

Finally House Bill 6725 has passed to Congress last December 24, 2012, a bill creating Philippine Space Agency, the Pinoy version of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Author Rep. Angelo Ramos said " Space Science combines intense scientific discovery with entrepreneurship, inspiration and excitement. It has served as driver for development of technologies that have changed the world".

Russia, USA and China has send human to outer space and who will be the first Filipino to walk in space in coming decades or it will be Pinoy who will make the third to walk in the moon after USA and India?

Who knows that this bill and the inspired Filipino astronomers will make it happen in the near future?

The bill envision to have a self-reliant and coherent space program that will play a pivotal role in national economic development.
