Nokia LUMIA 620 vs LUMIA 610 Price and Specs Comparison

Latest Nokia LUMIA 620 running on dual-core S4 processor, dual camera with 5MP rear and VGA front and 720p video recording capable - Cheapest Windows Phone 8
Latest LUMIA 620 is the cheapest windows 8 phone from Nokia and it is priced at $249, tax excluded and will be available first quarter of 2013. $249 would convert to approximately P10,000 in Philippines but Nokia Lumia 610 is currently selling in the market for P9,990.

So, I think Nokia LUMIA 620 would be priced right at P10,990, just an approximate.

Nokia LUMIA 620 caught my attention and interest. It is powered by Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, with dual camera 5MP rear and VGA front, running on Windows Phone 8 and of course with Nokia quality we've trusted for a long time.

But how would it compete with dual-core Android phones currently in the market such as Lenovo P700i/S560 (P10,990), Alcatel OT 997D EXPLORE (P11,990), Sony Experia J (P11,490), Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 (P11,990), HTC Desire X (P13,750) and local mobile brands MyPhone A898 DUO (P7,499) and A919 DUO (P9,499)Cherry Mobile FLARE (3,999) and TITAN (P6,499) and StarMobile ASTRA (P6,990) and CRYSTAL (P7,990).

Anyway, why should I compare LUMIA 620 to LUMIA 610? Why not on LUMIA 820 or LUMIA 510? On my first glance with 620, it is an upgraded LUMIA 610 and second, they are on the same price range.

Let's compare both of them so that we could make a better choice.

Overall, Nokia LUMIA 620 is upgraded LUMIA 610 from operating system (OS) to hardware (processor, RAM, display and camera capabilities).

If LUMIA 620 upgrade cost is worth at least P1,600, I should better choose this one than LUMIA 610.

It is so far the cheapest Windows Phone 8 in the market and with balanced specs and Nokia quality, it will  probably take down some mid-range Android Phones.
