PAGASA Tracks LPA - 30% to be Typhoon BISING

PAGASA Typhoon BISING 3 Days Forecast Track

PAGASA sighted Low Pressure Area (LPA), now a typhoon at 390 km East of Baler, Aurora inside PAR as of 4 pm January 12, 2013. LPA is embedded on InterTropical Convergence Zone (ITZC).

Previous LPA has less than 30% of becoming Typhoon and will be named "BISING" - the second typhoon to enter Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for 2013.

Mindanao: NONE

Forecast Track:
(1) 500 km East of Basco, Batanes - Sunday
(2) 930 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes - Monday
(3) 530 km Southeast of Okinawa, Japan - Tuesday

Strength: Maximum wind of 45 kph near center

Movement: North Northeast at 22 kph

Rainfall Volume: 5-15 mm/hr (moderate to heavy rains) within 300 km.

Distance to Land: 390 km East of Baler, Aurora
