PAGASA 8th Typhoon HUANING/SOULIK Forecast Track - To Enhanced HABAGAT?

PAGASA 8th Typhoon HUANING 3 Days Forecast Track as of 2 pm July 12, 2013
PAGASA sighted Typhoon SOULIK (International Name) 360 km Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes as of  4 pm July 12, 2013. It is expected to enter Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday morning (already inside PAR) and will be called HUANING - the 8th typhoon to enter PAR for 2013.

Typhoon HUANING/SOULIK will enhance the Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) and will bring rains on the western part of the country this Thursday.

Forecast Track:
(1) 540 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes or outside PAR - Saturday Morning

Strength: max of 165 kph near center

Gustiness: 200 kph

Movement: West Northwest at 20 kph

Landfall: Low chance to make a landfall

Rainfall Volume: 4-17 mm/hr (moderate - intense) within 900 km diameter of typhoon

Distance to Land: 690 km East of Itbayat, Batanes (inside PAR)

Fisherman especially those using small seacrafts are advised not to venture out in the seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon due to big waves generated by typhoon "HUANING".
