PAGASA tracks new LPA - Possible to be Typhoon JOLINA?

PAGASA LPA had already developed into Tropical Depression "JOLINA" - the 10th typhoon to enter PAR for 2013.

PAGASA sighted Low Pressure Area (LPA, now developed into Tropical Depression) 530 km West of Subic, Zambales (out of PAR) as of 4 pm July 31, 2013 previously embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting the country.

Previous LPA has a high chance of becoming a typhoon when on the west Philippine Sea  and will be called JOLINA - the 10th typhoon to enter Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for 2013.

(1) 700 km West of Dagupan City - Thursday

Strength: max of 65 kph near center

Gustiness: 80 kph

Movement: Northwest at 11 kph

Distance to Land: 530 km West of Subic, Zambales

"Tropical Depression" JOLINA will enhance Southwest Monsoon which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains and thunderstorms over MIMAROPA and over the provinces Bataan, Zambales, Batangas and Cavite.
