PAGASA Typhoon "ODETTE" 3 Days Forecast Track - Will it HIT Luzon in the coming days?


PAGASA latest typhoon "ODETTE" was sighted at 30 km East of Basco, Batanes as of 4am September 21, 2013.

Typhoon "ODETTE" was previously an LPA a few days ago and the 15th typhoon to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for 2013.

Rainfall Volume: 10-20 mm/hr (heavy-intense) within 900 km diameter.

Distance to Land: 30 km East of Basco, Batanes

Typhoon "ODETTE" is expected to enhance Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) which will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains rains and thunderstorms over the western sections of Southern Luzon. Residents in these areas are advised to be alert against possible flashfloods and landslides.

Residents in low lying and mountainous areas under signal#4,3,2 and #1 are alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise those living in coastal areas under signal#4,3 and 2 are alerted against storm surges.
