Latest Nokia ASHA 502 encased on crystal clear shell with vibrant polycarbonate colored core and stunning hardware design for budget conscious Pinoy consumers - Will it have a mass appeal to Filipinos?

Nokia Philippines unveiled its latest ASHA phone to Pinoy consumers - the ASHA 502 priced at P4,800.

ASHA 501 was the first to released with ASHA platform OS and other upcoming sequel are ASHA 500 (2 MP rear camera and 2G connectivity) and ASHA 503 (5 MP camera, curved Gorilla glass display and 3.5G capable) with slight different specs and connectivity targeting different consumer segment.

These new ASHA phones feature new layered design with two finely crafted layers of polycarbonate - "vibrantly colored core beneath a transparent layer".

A minute hands on with ASHA 502 leave me an impression of very solid, compact and innovative design. I'm waiting for ASHA 503 to be released in the Philippine market sooner.
