Latest from Myphone is A919 3D DUO with Real 3D Display (Naked Eye 3D). It can take 3D picture, play movies and  games on 3D without a 3D glasses. A919 3D is a redesigned A919 DUO, with 3D WVGA display (FWGA resolution for original) and 5MP (8MP for the original) at almost the same price point.

The good thing with MediaTek MT6589 quad-core processor are flexibility and simplified product development. Both Cherry Mobile OMEGA HD and MyPhone A919 DUO are powered by MT6577 dual-core processor. What will happen if you removed MT6577 and replaced it with MT6889 quad-core SoC in the circuit? How long will it take to test the new design?

The tight competitor from local brand of Cherry Mobile OMEGA HD is StarMobile DIAMOND, both on 5.0" IPS HD screen with dual camera featuring BSI technology and Dragontrail Scratch Resistant display. MyPhone don’t have Android phone featuring a camera with BSI technology but rather a quad-core HD A919i DUO.

On the other hand A919i DUO tight competitor are Cherry Mobile FLAME 2 and SKYFIRE 2, all running on quad-core Snapdragon processor. A919i is upgraded A919 DUO, so we are talking all upgrades here. All these upgrades will benefit consumers because older design drop its price due to tight competition and promos.

If you have budget, CM OMEGA HD 2.0 is very promising and I recommend to get one of that kind otherwise go for A919 3D DUO which is capable of 3D camera, 3D games and 3D video viewing.

MyPhone Android phones are known for descent camera and I hope they will release quad-core Android with scratch resistant display and camera with BSI technology to compete in "Quad-core + BSI market.
